We have all been through it once, sitting on the plane for two hours or more and there’s a crying baby in the background. Luckily there are headphones, plug them in, play some music or watch a movie, drown out the noise and enjoy the flight. 

 

 

2. Mobile Devices


Our lives have been revolving around electronics. Why not bring them with you on the plane? This way you can be entertaining and you can get some work done. 

 

3. Chargers


What’s the point of having mobile devices if they are dead? Having your charger with you will save the day!

 

4. Face wipes

The minute you land, you noticed bags under your eyes and you look like your dying. These face wipes will be fast and easy to have you refreshed and rejuvenated in no time.

 

5. Toiletries

Brushing your teeth and hair can make all the difference when it’s time to land. 

 

6. Change of clothes

Just in case, for some awful reasons, your luggage gets lost or an accident happened, at least then you will have an extra set of clothes. A simple T-shirt, pants, and undergarments are all you need, simple and easy to have with you. 

 

7. Get comfy – travel pillow, eye mask, eye plugs

Drown out the light and sound so you can have a nice nap.

 

8. Wallet


Collect Important travel documents, cash, and credit cards and keep them all in one place. 

 

9. Scarf

Perfect accessories for looking fab and double as a blanket if you get chilly on the plane.

 

10. Snacks

Let's face it, we all get bored and want something to munch on. However, the food on the plane can be pricey and packed with sodium so to avoid all that: PACK SOME SNACKS!!!

Weekend in Seattle

Hey guys! I hoped everyone had a fun weekend:) 

If you have been on my Snapchat or my Instagram lately, then you would have seen me posting tons of pictures of my stay in Seattle! And if you haven't, continue reading for all deets on my trips:)


Day One

I landed in Sea-Tac at around 11 PM on Wednesday, so I did not start my day until the following morning. Spent the day around Downtown Seattle. 

Did a lot of walking around Lake Union and to the Fremont Bridge.

It was my first time eating at Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzia and of course I had to try out their special "Tutta Bella" pizza. The pizza was very flavorful, the sauce was light and with a hint of tangy. The experience was over all great. Tutta Bella is exactly what you need -- good pizza, good drinks, and friendly serivce. 

 

For Happy Hour I had to stop by my all time favorite, Barolo Ristorante. The food here surpass my expectations every time I am in town. The bread the keeps on coming is so delicious and accompliments the rest of the food we ordered. We ordered the Spaghetti with calamari and parmigiano, tenderloin steak, local clams with arneis broth, Italian parasley and garlic.


Day Two

Started the day off with some walking down to Seahurst Park in Burien. What a hidden gem it was! This gorgeous park offers this beautiful view of Puget Sound. There are tons of driftwood to sit on and a forest that leads up to the beach.

 

Oyster galore!!! Had to stop by for happy hours at Elliott's Oyster House on Pier 56 over looking Puget Sound. Of course we had to get two dozens of oysters, which were soooo good!! We also got Tequila Mussles, Pesto Salmon Slider, and Blackened Fish Taco.

After happy hour, we went on the Seattle Great Wheel and this was my first time riding the wheel and it offers an amazing view of Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. It was worth the money for the view (they allow three rotatations on the wheel).

After the Seattle Great Wheel, we decided to walk to Pike Place and checked out the first Starbucks store ever. They sold merchandises that are exclusive to that store. The line was long and ridicuolus but it was worth it for a Starbucks lover like myself.

Day Three

For someone who lived in Florida and experienced clear blue water, white sand beaches, Alki was nothing compare to those beaches. However, this is the closest Seattle has to a beach and it was not that bad. The views of the mountain and Downtown Seattle are breathtaking!

Since we were already on Alki, we decided to stop by Salty's for dinner. While dining on the waterfront with the Downtown Seattle skyline as our view, we had the Salty's Blackened Fish taco, Salmon Cesear Salad, and the Fried Monterey Bay Calamari.

Day Four

We started off the moring with standing in line to sign up for the a free Sunday sailing expereince. I have never been on a sailing boat before and it was an enjoyable expereince. Every Sunday the Center for Wooden Boats opens to the public for free sailing around Lake Union. However, only the first 200 that signs up get to ride on sail boats and the Center is organized through donations. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Toward the end of Day Four, we decided to have a "chill" night as I prepare for my trip back to Texas. This trip was amazing and I can't wait ot come back here!!

How To Remove Facial Skin Tags and Moles

To Safely Remove Facial Skin Tags:

Skin tags are most commonly found in obese people and in people who are suffering from diabetes. Although these skin tags create no harm whatsoever on the overall health of an individual, they sure create pain and discomfort in addition to the humiliation, especially when they grow on the face. Use Apple Cider Vinegar

Using an apple cider vinegar is quite a popular method used by many individuals worldwide. It is the acid in the vinegar that kills the tissue known to form blemishes. Firstly, you need to clean the skin with warm water and mild soap. Then, dry the skin thoroughly. Now take a cotton ball, soak it in apple cider vinegar. Place the soaked cotton swab on the facial skin tag and hold it using a bandage. Allow it to stay overnight. Next morning, remove the bandage and cotton ball and rinse the area thoroughly. Repeat this process thrice a day or until you see positive results.

Apple cider vinegar is backed by many individuals who claim its effectiveness. So try now!

Tea Tree Oil

Another amazingly popular method for treating facial skin tags is an application of tea tree oil. Tea tree oil, an essential natural oil, has been used medicinally for centuries in order to treat all kinds of skin ailments. Thanks to its powerful anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antibiotic properties, tea tree oil is particularly very effective in treating skin tags.

In a matter of a few weeks with regular application, you are likely to see your facial skin tags fading away.

Soak a Q-tip in the tea tree oil and directly apply it to the facial skin tag thrice a day, allowing the oil to sit on your tag for 10 minutes at least. A Q-tip, in particular, is highly beneficial for those with sensitive skin type as the oil, in this case, won’t come into contact with the surrounding skin of the tag.

If you experience irritation, ensure that you avoid using an undiluted version of the tea tree oil. Instead, blend it with a soothing carrier oil such as coconut oil, before applying the oil topically on the facial skin tags. While applying the tea tree oil, make sure that you gently massage the area in a circular motion for about 5 minutes. Repeat this process thrice a day for at least 5 to 6 weeks to see noticeable results. Also, if the skin tag is near your eye, ensure that no oil gets in your eye. If, for whatever reasons, the oil does enter your eye, consult your doctor immediately.

To Remove Moles:

Moles, like skin tags, are harmless. They are only aesthetically unpleasant and some of us may feel unattractive while carrying these moles around. Moles are usually brown, black, or flesh-colored spots on the skin that are formed due to the excessive collection of melanocytes.

Several factors such as hormonal imbalances, genetics, and excessive sun exposure can play a vital role in the formation of moles; however, although some moles may disappear on their own as we age, some won’t. For those moles that don’t fade away on their own, many home remedies can be used to get rid of them.

Take a look at the following easy home-based remedies to effective remove moles:

Iodine Effect

In order to remove moles of all sizes, iodine can be used. Since iodine triggers natural cell death and effectively eliminates the clusters, it becomes a useful remedy for removing moles.

Buy an iodine tincture from a drug store. Gently clean the affected area and drop only 5% of iodine solution on your mole. Then, cover it with a bandage and leave it overnight. Now repeat this process daily for a week to see positive results.

If you are reluctant in using a bandage, then you can leave the iodine solution until it dries completely.

Castor oil and Baking soda

Another popular home-based remedy for removing moles is by applying a few drops of castor oil on the moles. Castor oil helps to dissolve and eliminate unusual growths of moles.

Mix a pinch of baking soda and add a few drops of castor oil. Now gently rub the mixture on the mole. Allow it to stay overnight until it dries naturally. Follow this process twice a day for about a month.

In case if you don’t have the baking soda available, feel free to use castor oil alone.

Garlic

Since garlic contains enzymes that help in breaking down the clusters of pigment-producing cells, garlic indeed becomes one of the most effective home-based remedies for removing moles.

Place a fresh garlic clove on the mole, secure it with a bandage, and leave it overnight. Follow this process daily for at least a week. In most cases, you will see the mole fall off naturally. It is also a good idea to apply oil on the skin that surrounds the mole in order to keep the skin protected.

In conclusion

Generally speaking, skin tags and moles are harmless and only a cosmetic concern. But, it is strongly advisable to get the moles and skin tags examined by a qualified dermatologist just to be sure and well informed. Certain kinds of moles can be an indication of skin cancer, which is why early examination is advisable. Always consult a doctor, when in doubt.

Once it is clearly established that the moles and skin tags that you have are harmless, you can then follow the mentioned natural remedies in order to remove them effectively and free yourself from the daily embarrassment caused by them.

Personal development needs to be practiced

The ability to seek out ways to continually learn and grow is a key fundamental skill that all resilient, optimistic and successful people possess. These traits are not granted to us at birth. They are not exclusive to the best of us. They need to be practiced with a purpose because as with any skill, they can be improved.

1. Invest in yourself

Invest time, effort and love into yourself and it will pay off exponentially. Challenge yourself to learn, understand, introspect and push your boundaries. Learn what your role is, find your passion, nurture your interests and do things that make you feel uncomfortable. Challenge your potential. Let go of guilty feelings when you choose to have ‘me time’. Learn to focus on what’s best for you instead of people pleasing.

2. Invest in your health

Looking after your physical and mental wellbeing can pay off in so many aspects of your life. You should never take your health for granted. Without your health, you have nothing. For some people, unfortunately, it takes a drastic decline in their health for them to realize how important their health is to them. What would happen to you, your family and your business if tomorrow you couldn’t function due to poor health?

Look after your physical and mental health by:

- eating well and nourishing your body
- staying hydrated by drinking enough water
- exercising for at least 30 minutes each day
- spending time outside
- managing a healthy work/life balance
- reducing stress
- getting enough sleep
- limiting alcohol

3. Invest time and effort into your children

Children are young for such a short time. Investing quality time with your kids is not only great for them, it’s terrific for you too. There’s no formula or best way to invest time and effort into your kids, but it is important to be present. Many parents spend time with their children all day long, but they are rarely present. Being present and being with your kids are two very different things. So put down the technology for a while, read to your kids, take them to the playground, ask them about their day, play games with them and talk to them about their dreams.

4. Invest in your relationship with your partner

Set aside quality time together on a regular basis. In the hustle and bustle of life, especially when there are children in the picture, it’s easy to let the romance die and to put the task of spending time together in the too hard basket. Agree on some special things you can do, whether that be date night once per week, cook a meal together, half an hour per day where you switch off technology and talk to each other, give each other a massage, or something as simple as giving each other a passionate kiss once per day (for example, together you agree that the kiss has to be at least 10 seconds long – try it tonight!).

5. Invest in your family

We’ve discussed investing time in your partner and your children, but don’t forget about the rest of your family; your parents, grandparents, aunties, cousins, godparents. Friends may come and go but your family will always be there. Make the effort to keep close family bonds and maintain positive, open communication.

Invest in finishing school and furthering your education if you get the chance. Go to university or college, do a trade, enroll in certificate workshops, take a short course. We are so privileged in this country to have access to so many educational opportunities. Never underestimate the benefit of education and continue to seek out new learning opportunities all throughout your life.

7. Invest in self-development

Work on your personal skills, your confidence and on areas, you know you have a weakness. Self-development is different to education. It’s a little less tangible and a little harder to pinpoint. The type of self-development I’m talking about is, for example, saying ‘yes’ more often to opportunities that present themselves. It’s intentionally placing you in situations which will launch you forward. It’s testing your capabilities and giving you a chance to excel. Set a new goal, attend seminars, workshops, join a networking group, attend conferences, coaching sessions, find a mentor, sign up for online webinars. Push your boundaries. You are far more capable than you think!

8. Invest in learning a new skill

An education will give you knowledge and tools however you can invest in yourself by learning a new skill. Learn to cook a new recipe. Start a blog. Learn a language. Take up an instrument. I have recently started to learn the guitar and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s possible at any age to acquire new skills and to build new neural pathways in your brain which can help to keep you sharp, alert and feels youthful!

9. Invest in your strengths

The most successful people in the world have discovered the things they are best at and have built their lives around those strengths. If you have something that you know you are great at, make sure you are capitalizing on this and getting the greatest return. You could even invest in sharing your strengths by teaching someone else what you’re good at.

10. Invest in your friendships

Friendships are vital for the human spirit. We are social animals and it’s natural to want to belong to a tribe of people where we feel safe and welcome. It’s important that you have a strong support network of people who have your back. Clear your life of negative people. Make new friends that inspire you and lift you up.

11. Invest in others

Donate your time. Help a friend. Give to charities. Volunteer to help those less fortunate. Investing in others is a great way to invest in yourself.

12. Invest in starting a business

One way to invest in yourself and your future is to start a business. It’s important to do your research and invest in learning and understanding the fundamentals of business before you take the leap. This is not something I can cover in one paragraph but with the right preparation, the right plan, the right advice, and support, it can be an incredibly rewarding venture. 

13. Invest in asking for help when needed

Whether it’s asking for help from a therapist, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a friend, a mentor, a coach, an advisor, a support group, a helpline, or even something as practical as hiring a cleaner to help you with the household chores; always be prepared to ask for help if you find yourself overwhelmed.

14. Invest in investments

Find a good balance between investing in your present and investing in your future. Learn to manage your finances and put some of your salary towards savings. Spend less than you earn. Maintain good credit. There are many different ways to invest your money. You can invest in property, in shares, in a business, in paying down debt, in wine, in antiques, just to name a few. There are many ways to invest and one of the most important criteria is that your investment should have a high likelihood of increasing in value over time.

Invest in a financial adviser and educate yourself. There are some amazing investment clubs where you can educate yourself.

A beauty even without the rain, this town gets the finesse, as soon as the first drops of rain touches the earth. Getting substantial rainfall every year, Pondicherry is the dreamy combination of a place to roam about in the rains and a place to sit-in and enjoy during the rains. While the diners and cafes act as the perfect host outside your home during monsoon. The once French colony takes you into a different era, it is the beaches that provide you the most liberating and enlightening of experiences. Just go and sit at the beach in the rains, without thinking of getting dirty or wet, and just look at the sea uncurling in all its glory in front of you. This would be the time when you will start with all the deep questions of your life and you start to introspect.

The monsoon showers in India first hit Kanyakumari and every bit of it demands a visit. An ordinary town (with much more than a couple of touristic locations), there is a sudden change in the air as the showers begin, as if the air has been electrified. Everything mentioned about beaches during monsoon in Pondicherry, to some extent, applies here too! In fact, this place has a divided monsoon. If you are the kind that prefers heavy thudding of water droplets against your windows, then July and August are the most preferable months; whereas, if you like your rains light and soft, you should be here around September. With religious vibes already in the air, the place becomes calmer when the monsoon hits and in a way more… auspicious! If you do not mind the rains, just set out as it pours. Take a walk or a drive (preferably in a scooter) across the town and observe what’s going on around and inside you.

Well, you haven’t really seen Indian rains unless you have been to Kolkata during monsoons. A bustling city even during rains, this city is a must visit if you have a habit of living eccentrically! You can visit the Princep Ghat for a boat ride (what fun it would be to be in the water while it is pouring cats and dogs!), or go for a drive with family or friends towards Rajarhat or pay your homage to wet-o-wild! Enjoy the rains with some delicious, mouth-watering Bengali food. Have some Beguni, Luchi, Aloo-Dum, Pyaaji, and other mind-blowing recipes.

With an average rainfall of more than 11500 mm and the fame for being one of the wettest places on Earth, Cherrapunji is the place where you would want to be for your honeymoon! Comfortable, cool and exceptionally stunning with the valleys and greenery, this is one of the most romantic spots, you could ever visit. You have no option for light rains here, so either fall in love with the crazy rainfall everywhere at all times or… well, anyone would fall for it. What is worth wondering about is? Why does this place receive so many tourists? The answer lies in the true spirit, culture and the people of this place.

P.S. Trust this that nothing awes you as much as walking on live bridges during monsoon!

It would be no less than a crime not to talk about this place when talking about monsoon in India. Though well connected by trains and by roads, this is one place you’d want to drive to, the reason being the freshness of air and the beauty around you. And well, the roads are damn fine! On the way, you will come across waterfalls, dams, ponds, awe-inspiring caves to the alluring greenery, the serene valleys to the sometimes ferocious but always heart-warming sky. This place has a lot to offer that should be accessed during the rains.

Fun fact: the food stalls offer the perfect snacks for monsoon, from Maggie to onion pakoras, obviously served with hot tea and coffee.


P.S.: Try to stay here for a day, accommodations would not be a problem!

Summing up, with the rainy season about to approach, it's time you start planning a visit to these destinations in India!

Take A Good Look At Yourself

Good Morning! Good afternoon beautiful souls!
Wherever you are in the world today I send you positive vibes. Namaste!


Today’s post is still focused around self-care, I'm just coming at it this week from a deeper, more reflective perspective. 


Over the last month, I have been fortunate enough to help organize and participate in a thirty day love yourself challenge. Some activities we were given to do were light hearted but very effective none the less.


Other tasks required a lot more concentration and honesty. Several nights over the last few weeks I've found myself sat with a notepad and pen, discovering things about my inner self I had no idea existed. 


I'm not afraid to look within, I do it quite often as I personally believe that it’s a healthy practice, to help make sense of our emotions, our state of mind. Yet it’s amazing how a simple question can catch you off guard and really make you think about the way you view the world around you.


That question for me was: HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF?


Simple enough question, extremely difficult to answer, especially if you struggle with positive self-talk.
But it was put across to me in such a way I was able to answer openly and comfortably and through it developed an understanding and self-acceptance, It really helped me adapt my mindset in a very positive way.


So, I invite you lovely people to try the task today.
If you do decide to give this a try, please aim to be completely open and honest with yourself. We can’t reflect, evaluate and move forward if we're denying ourselves pieces of the puzzle! (it’s so easy to make ourselves believe we should be thinking a certain way, and ignore the truth).


Let’s be honest for a minute.


Self-reflection is hard and sometimes it can be very bloody painful. No one wants to open a door or rip the band-aid off and open old wounds. Yet we need to address those feelings sooner rather than later so we can learn how to effectively manage them.
You can always write them down if that makes the process of reflection easier, or talk to someone who can help you make sense of them. (It’s ok to need help!)
But finding help in any form starts with honesty.


So, without further ado let’s begin the task.


How Do others see you?
The way I want you to do that is to put yourself into the shoes of a stranger. Become somebody different for a small while.
Sit somewhere quiet and Imagine as this stranger, you are meeting YOU for the first time. From this stranger’s perspective:
What do you think of the other person’s appearance?
How does this person talk to you? 
What type of things will this person say?
What characteristics do you see reflected from this person: friendliness, hostility?
What type of body language can you see or sense? 
Open or closed?
How do you feel being around this person?  Uneasy? A relaxed? Happy? Angry? Sad?
Could you be friends with a person who has the kind of qualities that you notice?
If yes, why?
If no, why not?
Then put yourself back into your own shoes, you are yourself again and see the world through familiar eyes.
But curious minds would like to know...
What type of light have you painted yourself in? 
Positive or negative?


If you feel people view you in a positive light that's brilliant and beautiful to feel confident and likable as a person.
If you painted yourself in a negative light, I'm very sorry to hear you feel that way. I've been there, and it’s very disheartening and self-esteem lowering when you feel that people simply won’t like your true self.


But please ask yourself the following questions.


WHY do you think that people see you in that way?
How do you know that people view you in this way?
Has anyone ever directly pointed out these characteristic’s that you feel are negative and unlikeable?  Told you things to make you believe this is who you are?
If yes how long ago? Was it just one person or several?


Sometimes one negative remark about the way we behave can affect our mindset and our confidence. No one likes to hear negative critique. But that's all it is, critique. If you have unfortunately received similar feedback from a variety of people, use it as an opportunity to undergo self-development and grow in a healthy positive way, don't use it as a reason to treat yourself unkindly.


But...8/10 times it is only what we think other people see within us.
Speaking of personal experience and lessons I've learned. Those who I felt perceived me negatively?   Had never given me any solid indication that my suspicions were true. They had never confronted me and told me or anyone else how they really felt about me as a person and no such person came forward to tell me.


Most of the time it was my low self-esteem and lack of belief that tricked me into thinking that people saw me a certain way.
I was convincing myself that I could tell how people felt about me. As though I could get inside their heads and read their thoughts.


When really, it had nothing to do with me. If that person liked me or not. It was none of my business. Just like it was nothing to do with anyone else how I felt about them.
The only thing that matters in that kind of situation is how you feel about yourself. 


Some people will like you, some people won’t. That is the harsh reality of life, but unless they tell you as such. Don't assume that's what they think or feel.
Focus on YOU and how YOU can love yourself, and what you can do make your self-esteem and inner dialogue kinder and better.

Downtown Bryan host once every first Friday of the month a spectacular event where you can bring your family or your date to enjoy live music and performance throughout the streets.


There are so much to experience in Downtown Bryan. Spend a few hours shopping for one-of-a-kind treasures, attending an evening concert, sample the local flavor at one of many restaurants, and complete your stay at the historic LaSalle Hotel.

iPhone Camera Lens

Yayyy, it's finally here! I have been waiting impatiently for this to come in. After dealing with a few complications (nothing to do with the actually product or delivery, I just entered the wrong address:( Story of my life...) I finally got my iPhone Camera Lens. I was extremely impress by the quality of the product. I have been using this lately for my Blog and Instagram pictures. The quality of the pictures are phenomenal!!! I usually don't praise how great an item is (unless its makeup, its a whole different story) but I really am glad I brought this!

Easiest Summer Hairstyle

Having summer hair that is both functional and cute is tough. Trying to achieve enough volume and texture while combatting the summer humidity can sometimes be near impossible. Especially if you’re like me and have curly hair. To me, it seems pointless to spend 45 minutes (yup, it really does take that long) straightening my hair just for the sweat and the wind to mess it all up. 

So, what am I left with? Typically just a ponytail. And, while I do wear my hair that way most of the summer, there are some situations where that just doesn’t fit the occasion. Leaving me with question marks for eyes when I try to discover a new way to combat the heat and diversify my hairstyle repertoire. 

I spent what seemed like forever trying to find a style that would be easy enough for me to do on myself (because that’s half the battle), and also something that would work with a head of curly locks. I finally found it (and then had to abridge it some, but whatever). Ladies, I present to you, the easiest summer hairstyle that’s not a ponytail. 

Step 1 - 
Divide your hair into three sections (left, right, back). It’s really that easy. 

Step 2 - 
Braid each section. Here’s an example of my hair, but watch out, curly braids are pretty crazy. 


Step 3 - 
Wrap each braid around itself until it makes a small ball or bun. Pin in place and repeat with each section. 

 

Ta-da! That’s really all it takes! I’ve worn my hair like this for several more formal occasions, but this is the perfect style for a day at the beach or the ballgame. Really, it’s perfect for any situation where you want your hair off your neck without sacrificing style.

Connect With Nature

Welcome back lovelies!


I really hope you've somehow managed to carve out a little time to put yourself first at least once a day! Ready to plug yourself back in!

You deserve it and more importantly, you're WORTH it. Yes, I mean it! You are WORTH it!

As I've said several times over the last few weeks just fifteen minutes a day with correct breathing will have huge benefits fro you both emotionally and physically. 

Most importantly, it will have a positive influence on your mindset. In no time we can move away from feeling stressed and erratic to a place of calm and centered. 

Now for this weeks task...

I want you to find another fifteen minutes in your day.  

Crazy talk I know, but I want you to trust me... Have I lead you astray so far? 

I'm here because I care. I'm here because I want to offer you the tools that work for me. The tools that center me and keep me grounded, steady. 

I've told you how to do that inside the home. Now put on your walking boots (or don't! Barefoot works too!) because we're going to go and connect with nature!  

Now before you go rolling your eyes at me and grumble that this mini-series is becoming a little too hippy dippy for you I want you to hear me out ok? 


Houses, cars, airplanes, money, jobs, exams, debts, technology (although detrimental nowadays to survive in modern society)  is not natural. It's not the world in its purest form. The earth didn't create these things, mankind did. 

Earth in its purest form is soil, trees, flowers, rocks, mountains, rivers, the ocean. Icebergs! The circle of life and death. 

We're brought into this world in our purest form and as we grow we forget that. 

So today I want you to find a place, in your garden, in the woods, on the beach, anywhere. 

Make a point of surrounding yourself with natural resources that are provided straight from the earth: flowers, potted plants with big colorful leaves. Heck take your shoes off and let the souls of your feet connect with the ground and the grass.

Smell the fresh air, what does it taste like? 
Breathe in deep as you can until your lungs are ready to burst. Then release and let all the stress go!

Listen to the noise around you, drown out the screaming of the modern world, get as far away from the humming of traffic as you can. Tune into the songs of the birds, the rustle of trees in the breeze. Water trickling in a nearby lake.

Your body will recognize the calmness, the environment we had evolved to thrive within millions of years ago and when you relax your thoughts, it won't be long until you're really embracing the sense of natural peace that connecting to the world around you. 

Go ahead, plug yourself into Mother Earth!
