Listen To Your Heart
Hello again Lovelies,
Thanks for having me back!
I absolutely love calling around to see you all!
Even more so since I need to talk to you about something really important!
But before we get started, can you do me a favor?
Put down whatever it is that you’re doing, close your eyes for a moment and listen to your heart. (No I'm not trying to start a Roxette sing off) Listen to your breathing right this moment.
Is it moving fast? Are you losing your breath? Is your heart thumping hard in your chest? Is it a comfortable feeling? Does it make you feel calm or does it make you feel anxious? Uncertain?
What might it be telling you?
We’re always moving so fast, even when we think that we’re calm, sometimes we can’t help it; life is hectic, life is manic, life can get beyond crazy at times. So, in order to keep up and check off the to-do list, we must push ourselves well beyond our physical limits to see how far we can go...why?
What exactly are we trying to prove to ourselves? To others? To our children? That we’re not working properly unless we drive our emotional and physical selves into the ground?
That’s not what life is about! Is it? If it is, I’m complaining to the big boss upstairs!
We’re spending so much time rushing through our schedules that were not existing in the moments anymore, even when we think we are. We’re taking our wellbeing for granted and the only thing that’s going to come with that is poor health and sickness, trust me!
So, over the next few weeks I’m going to be bringing you a few personal lifestyle tips to help give you ideas and inspiration. To help you become more aware of yourself!
Now don’t get me wrong I'm not a doctor, a therapist or any medical professional. I’m just a human being, a mother who has found her own way to be present in her life and wants to help you by sharing.
